Made with AI? Tell players.

Kitpop engine generates your capsule art. Valve's content survey asks you to disclose AI-generated content in your game. The survey talks about content players see in the game and doesn't name store art, but players see your capsules too. We suggest you mention them.

Edit the line so it's true for your game. Steam's rules can change, so check Steamworks before you publish.

EACH STEAM KIT GIVES YOU A LINE TO PASTE“Our store capsules and library art were made with AI image generation, then reviewed and edited by us.”

Questions

Can I use my own art?

Yes, and we recommend it. Add your key art, screenshots or character. Your kit will match your game's look.

What sizes are in a Steam kit?

Header, small, main and vertical capsules, the library capsule and hero, and a transparent library logo. Every file is at Steam's current size.

Does it follow Steam's text rules?

Yes. Capsules only show your game's name and subtitle. The library hero has no text. No scores, awards, sale text, "Wishlist now" or dates.

Do I own the images?

Yes. You can use them on your store page, in trailers, ads and social posts.

What if a word comes out wrong?

Something wrong with a file? Press Something's wrong? on your kit page. We fix it or give the credits back.

Does Kitpop make screenshots or trailers?

No. Valve asks that screenshots show your real game, so take those in your game.

How much does it cost?

The style card is free. A Steam kit costs 7 credits. You see the cost on the Build button before you spend anything.
