Roblox thumbnail size
Use 1920×1080 pixels, which is a 16:9 picture. Roblox shows every thumbnail at 16:9. If yours is a different shape, it gets stretched. Keep the file under 3 MB. You can add up to 10 thumbnails or videos to one game.
One tip from Roblox: don't put important text at the bottom. The player count can sit on top of it.
You can also let Roblox test your thumbnails for you. Turn on thumbnail personalization in the Creator Dashboard, and Roblox shows each one to different players and gives more views to the one that works best. Roblox docs →
Roblox game icon size
Use a square picture of 512×512 pixels or bigger. Roblox sometimes shows icons as small as 150×150, so check that you can still tell what it is at that size. Big shapes and one clear subject work better than lots of tiny details. Roblox docs →
Roblox badge size
Start from a 512×512 square. When you upload, Roblox cuts the badge into a circle, so the corners disappear. Keep text and faces in the middle. You can make 5 badges for free per game every 24 hours; after that, each one costs 100 Robux. Roblox docs →

Roblox game pass icon size
Your pass picture can be 512×512 pixels at most. Roblox shows it in a circle, so keep important details in the middle. Use a .jpg, .png or .bmp file. Roblox docs →
You may see “150×150” for passes on other sites. Roblox's docs say up to 512×512, so a 512×512 picture gives you the sharpest result.
Questions
Can I upload a bigger thumbnail, like 4K?
Roblox asks you to keep thumbnails under 1920×1080 and 3 MB. This tool shrinks bigger pictures for you.
Why does my badge look cut off?
Roblox crops badges into a circle. Move the important part to the center and check the circle preview.
Do I need a different picture for the icon and the thumbnail?
Yes. The icon is square and the thumbnail is wide (16:9). Make them match in style, so players know they're the same game.
Is this tool free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, and your picture stays on your device.
